I still can't believe that I got to marry this guy. Joe and I's wedding day was a dream come true. We were surrounded by so much love from our friends and family.
Thinking back on the whole planning process, I can't believe how much changed from our original vision. Everything that we did, though, turned out so great! From the reception location at the winery to the impending storms all day, the day was full of emotions and love. Listen to Overwhelmed by Tim McMorris to get you in the wedding mood, and take a look at the fantastic photos that Brad and Alisa at Brad Hart Photography took.
I seriously had the best bridesmaids and maid-of-honors (yes, I had two!).
I am so in love with the above photos! So thankful for Brent for making Joe look even more handsome.
Why have only one flower girl when you can have a whole bouquet of them? This idea is purely thanks to my mother. I love all these girls dearly and I was so thankful to have them bring a whole lot of cuteness! Julie and I made the baskets out of old berry baskets I had and some fabric for the handles. Mom and I made the leaf crowns with fake greenery, gold spray paint and ribbon!
Joe and I did a first look and I'm so glad we did! It was so special getting to see how nice we can clean up and having this intimate moment with each other.
Hidden Lake Winery had the most beautiful scenery. The Majestic Falls site, where we had our ceremony, was absolutely breathtaking.
I am so glad this moment got captured! Look at that face!
I loved that our ceremony was so reflective of Joe and I. It was beautiful, emotional, and funny! This was the moment Joe's brother, Josh, dropped his ring, which thankfully didn't get lost.

Our reception was held at The Estate at Hidden Lake and it was fantastic! Our original plan was to have it in a tent at the Majestic Falls site, but due to weather, Hidden Lake offered to move us to this indoor setting. It was the best call we could've made, and even though it was a little tight for our guests, being in air conditioning was way more comfortable!
My cousin Kaleb give us the idea to do a popcorn bar for the appetizer. We made the popcorn ourselves and it's a lot easier than you think! And it was a hit!
My favorite moment:
I remember the moment I walked down the aisle , I looked at Joe and I looked at my dad & said, "I'm just so happy right now." That feeling of pure joy was so overwhelming and it overtook my body & soul. I was about to say I do to the best guy there is. There are so many other snippets of that day that will ingrained in my mind, but that one overtook me.
Joe's favorite moment:
The sunset. It was at the end of the day and I was at the bar end of the estate when Kait found me. I just remember walking into the main reception hall and seeing all of the colors through the large windows and walking outside with my new wife to take pictures. It was a perfect transition from day to night and it gave us a few moments to be alone (for the most part) before going back into The Estate and all of the craziness inside.
My heart is just full and I can't believe the day we got married was just under three months ago. I remember this time last year, I had just ordered my wedding dress and I was working on centerpiece decorations! Check out our amazing vendors below! Our day would not be the same without them!
