I feel like sometimes the best gift isn't something off your wish list, but something that's thoughtful. Something that the giver knows you like and thinks that you would like.
Joe we above and beyond this year not only did we take a trip to Chicago to celebrate and he got me an Instax Mini, Joe surprised me by getting tickets to see Judah & the Lion in Nashville this past weekend. He know how much I enjoyed seeing bands I love play live and he knew how much this band meant to me, since the first time I discovered them was when I found our wedding first dance song.
We took a day to Nashville and did some walking around, good eating, making fun of the segway tours, drinking beer and then finally listening to good music. Judah & the Lion put on a fantastic concert and we enjoyed every minute of it. When they played our wedding song, we headed to the back of the balcony of the Ryman, and danced together. It was so special and so memorable and my heart is so full.
Inspired by our trip, I made a playlist with a number of Judah & the Lion songs, along with some other good music that reminds me of Nashville and road tripping. I also included some songs from the show openers, Tyson Motsenbocker and The Lonely Biscuits. Enjoy and feel free to share!
